FreeSpend is a personal budgeting app for tracking discretionary spending. This policy describes how the App handles your information.

Data Collection

The App uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data. This may include:

• App open and session events
• Device type, OS version, and language
• General location (country/region, derived from IP address)
• Crash reports and performance data

This data is used solely to improve the App and is not used to identify you personally.

Data Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

Field	Description
Balance	Your current discretionary spending balance (a numeric value)
Last Updated	A timestamp of the most recent balance change

This data is stored using Apple’s standard UserDefaults mechanism and shared between the main app and the home screen widget via an App Group. It never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Firebase Analytics by Google. Firebase may collect and process usage data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

Your locally stored balance data is never shared with anyone. Aggregated, anonymous analytics data is processed by Google/Firebase per their privacy policy.

The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
